Join us for a mini-symposium on Thursday, March 21!
Housing is on everyone's mind, but the impacts of housing are felt in all areas of our lives and within our community. This symposium is a day of discussion with community leaders and field experts in Health, Homelessness, Senior and Veteran Housing and Designing for Cold Climates. John Miki, Opticos Design and Mayor of Albany, CA, will share community building concepts within the Missing Middle Housing framework as the Keynote speaker. After the event, join Weidner Apartment Developments at the Fountainhead Auto Museum for a reception. This event is for community leaders, builders, downtown advocates, health care professionals, and anyone interested in building a stronger and healthier Fairbanks. There will be opportunities for discussion and networking leading to more collaboration that strengthens community housing action across sectors. Registration is $30 for the Symposium.
